Stop scene on "released" event

Recommended Posts

hi at all

I have a HC3L with philips hue integration.

I would like to dim a hue lamp by holding down a temporary switch and stop to dim by releasing it.

I wrote a rudimentary script for dimming, but i can't figure out to stop dimming on release.

In this moment i test script with fibaro single switch 2.

Can someone help me?

this is my code.

{
  conditions = { {
      id = 107,
      isTrigger = true,
      operator = "==",
      property = "centralSceneEvent",
      type = "device",
      value = {
        keyAttribute = "HeldDown",
        keyId = 1
      }
    } },
  operator = "all"
}

dimlevel = tonumber(fibaro.getValue(125"value"))

if dimlevel < 100 then
    while true do
        dimlevel = math.min(dimlevel + 10,100)
        hub.call({[1] = 125, [2] = 126, [3] = 127, }, 'setValue', dimlevel)
        fibaro.debug("up", dimlevel)
        fibaro.sleep(300)
    end
else
    while true do
        dimlevel = math.max(dimlevel - 10,10)
        hub.call({[1] = 125, [2] = 126, [3] = 127, }, 'setValue', dimlevel)
        fibaro.debug("down", dimlevel)
        fibaro.sleep(300)
    end

end

thank you for support

You can do it in a block scene..(at least with Fibaro dimmer you can, I don't if HUE supports it, but i think it should )

  • Topic Author
  • Hue Lamps cannot control from standard dimmer, but from philips hue app or fibaro integration.

    however I realized that I posted in the wrong place ... put it all in the "scenes" section
    thank you
