Script for Fibaro switch

Question

Posted

Hello to all.

I'm new here and already searched for any answer to my question but couldn't find anything.

In my example i have a fibaro switch connected to some lamps on my gardenhouse. On one input of the switch i have a motion sensor connected (not from fibaro). So if i walk threw this sensor the fibaro relay gets activated and the lamps get illuminated as long as the motion switch is closed. (like a normal light switch). When i would like to manually turn on the lights of this gardenhouse i press the digital switch in my home control app. this works too. But my problem is: If i turn on the lights via the digital switch in the app the lights are on as long as i don't walk threw the motion sensor. If i walk thew the sensor the fibaro switch gets the signal threw the input and when the motion switch turns off the lights turn off. Then i have tu turn it on again via the app or i walk threw the motion sensor again. So i think the signal from the motion sensor overwrites the digital switch.

Is there a way to write the script in a way that as long the digital switch is pressed by the app the physical input gets ignored? I don't know how i can include this digital switch from the app in the lua script.

Thanks for the help and i hope that somebody understand my problem.

Kind regards

Hmm... I would do it like a QuickApp. I would make it so you can ignore input on fibaro switch when button on quickapp is pressed and even add a button to manually activate the device. It can be done.
