Alternative for Aeotec Wall Plug

RohitNz

Question

I have 5 Aeotec Wall Plugs.  They have always been iffy.  After upgrading from HC2 to HC3, they are basically non-functional.  Only one out of 5 works reliably.

  • I have updated the firmware on them to the latest
  • They enrolled fine and responded to get neighbour list from their final destination.
  • But a few months later, only one works.
    • 4 of them no longer respond to get neighbour list
    • They keep going dead frequently
    • I suspect because of above, some neighboring fibaro devices are also not responding to get neighbour list.

  1. Has anyone experienced any problems with them?
  2. Since the sockets are dual, I cant put a fibaro switch behind the wall socket.
  3. Is there an alternative?

    3. Fibaro Wall Plug 🤷‍♂️

I don't think this comes in Australian/New Zealand Pins.  I have, again, looked at it on various stores including amazon.com.au and smartliving.com.au.

    • The image shows the European/Indian Pins.
    • And the text does not mention Australian pins.
    • And there is no stock.

@RohitNzI did also use third party wall plugs, in order have the pins used in my country. But they had no template, no color ring indicator and stopped working after a couple of years.

No I'm using Fibaro Wall plugs with a pin adapter for my country on the input. If necesseary another adapter on the output. This makes it longer, but for me, this still the better solution.

That wont work for me.  Maybe I should look at wifi control lights since HC3 supports them.  Has anyone had any experience with them?
