Restoring Fibaro HC 2 after battery replacement

Question

Posted

I would like to find out how I can successfully restore the HC2 that died as a result of battery discharge.

Leds run from leftto the right and when they all light up, they immediately disappear and HC2 is not even visible on the network. The LED inside HC2 flashes red.

However, I managed to restart HC a couple of times by holding the start button for a long time and it went online, where it was displayed whether I wanted to restore it from a backup, from the disk or delete it completely.

I tried from backup, but it didn't work. The screen kept showing that the service was being processed, but nothing happened and HC2 disappeared from the network again.

Currently, I can't even restart it to get to this menu and try to reset the settings.

Does anyone have any advice on how to restore it perfectly so that my settings remain as they were? Backups were made both on the key and on the cloud.

Thank you very much for the information

@JurioDidn't know hc2 has a replaceable battery.

The USB Stick isn't needed any more, since Firmware 4.5.
