grandparents aren't that fond of domotica, they want to push buttons to turn lights on and off. They're staying in our house since we're on holiday.

And luckily no reboots, but this evening, zwave freezes, halve of the lights don't turn on and I thank someone above that the other halve can work stand alone with hue.

Dear fibaro, can you image the stress of 2 80 year olds? solve this please!

@emielstroeveDid you try connect remotely and restart hc3?

I didn't want to do that, the risk of making things worse was too big. And I was right, this morning I did rebooted HC3 (remotely) and it took zwave about half an hour to become stable again. Lots of nodes were unavailable a just after the reboot. After about halve an hour it seemed stable again. Yesterday evening a few nodes did work and thoose were the ones handling some of the lights. I didn't want grandparents in the dark.....

It would be very nice if Fibaro could at least tell a bit more on this bug, manage expectations a bit more than they currently do.

You better make a support call to Fibaro if you want to hear from them

I would like Fibaro to solve this for all of us.

It is sad for your grandparent to stay in what looks like a haunted house. If you expect Fibaro to react on a post and solve your issue, you better prepair for a disapointment.

    Glad it works again.

Did you generate logs before you did a reboot, it might be helpfull attaching those to the support ticket?

in an earlier stage I already sent logs, all I got was 'yes, we know the issue, it's the bigger problem we're facing'.

And since lots of Fibaro users already sent in their logs and got patches, Fibaro knows the problem. But they don't act towards their customers. So, how does our and their future looks like, home automation wise?

If you mean the reboot patch, if you want it, just ask them.

You don't get my point. I'm trying to get Fibaro to release their patch, they've taken a lot of time but hardly ever manage expectations and provide a solution in general.

I've never ever seen a company act this way, where customers have to ask for individual patches. Did you?

Indeed, you had me thinking otherwise, because of the story of your grandparents, the stress of 80 years old people. I would ask Fibaro to install the patch so your HC3 performs normal and your 80 years old grandparents can have a nice and relaxed stay at your home.

But instead your intention with your story, is to get Fibaro to release the patch asap to the world, although Fibaro doesn’t read the posts.
