FGBS-222 implant as a remote computer switch, will it work?

Question

Próbuję podłączyć implanta (FGBS-222) , walczę już tydzień , nie potrafię namierzyć jakiegokolwiek postu w podobnym temacie.

Być może, na implancie nie można wywołać chwilowego zwarcia ,poprzez braku zworki na przewodach , dlatego spróbuje się dopytać.

Mam HC3 , chciałbym wykorzystać implant FGBS-222 , tak aby na wyjściu pierwszym albo drugim  powstało chwilowe zwarcie, takie jak w momencie  naciśnięcia przycisku START w komputerze.

Biurko z komputerem jest niestety w położeniu poziomym , ze względu na położenie , dostęp do przycisku start jest bardzo utrudniony , nie mam możliwości ustawienia w inny sposób komputera dziecka, brak miejsca w pokoju , dlatego jako wyzwalacza chciałbym użyć BUTTON  lub KEY FOB 

 

Czy ktoś z użytkowników  już może próbował czegoś podobnego do tego , czego  ja próbuję dokonać  ?. Jaką scenę i parametry  trzeba zainicjować,  aby to implant zadziałał ( o ile jest to możliwe)?

Dlaczego implant?

Ponieważ nie potrzeba zasilania 230V , przewód do komputera jest podłączony bezpośrednio do zasilacza , ciężko z niego wyprowadzić przewody do zasilania 230 V np. innego przełącznika z fibaro

 

A może inny pomysł oparty na fibaro ? bardzo chętnie zapoznam się z wiedzą.

 

 

I'm trying to connect the implant (FGBS-222), I've been struggling for a week, I can't find any post on a similar topic.

Perhaps a temporary short circuit cannot be caused on the implant due to the lack of a jumper on the wires, so I will try to ask

I have HC3, I would like to use an implant so that there is a momentary short circuit at the first or second output, like when you press the START button in a computer.

Unfortunately, the desk with the computer is in a horizontal position, due to its location, access to the start button is very difficult, I cannot position the child's computer in any other way, there is no space in the room, so I would like to use BUTTON or KEY FOB as a trigger:

 

Has anyone else tried something similar to what I'm trying to do? What scene and parameters must be initialized for the implant to work (if possible)?

Why an implant?

Since there is no need for a 230V power supply, the computer cable is connected directly to the power supply, it is difficult to connect cables to the 230V power supply, e.g. to another Fibaro switch.

 

Or maybe another idea based on Fibaro? I will be very happy to learn more.

Interesting request.

You mention the 230V problem, but be aware that the Smart Implant also needs a power supply, for example 12DC. So you also need to solve the power source for SI.

To connect SI to the PC button, it will be enough to connect OUT1 both terminals in parallel to the PC button.

In the SI configuration, set parameter 156 to 2 (200ms), for example.

 

Available values:

0 – auto off disabled

1-27000 (0.1s-45min, 0.1s step)

 

I'll give you another tip.

I basically just put my computer to sleep. Then just tap the keyboard and the PC will wake up.

The whole family got used to this.

Another thing is if you really need to press the PC button, for example, after a power failure. You will have to solve that with the SI team.

Personally, I would prefer to pull the wires to the available place with a regular button.

    Yes, sleep is the simplest method, but in my case it doesn't work because I communicate with the computer via VPN, and too often the computer wakes up via the network card, so I was looking for a different solution.

  • Hello again, I haven't been here for a while because I found a solution, but I was waiting for the parts to arrive from aliexpress

    I bought a power cord for my computer:

    this cable allowed me to disconnect the power supply without interfering with changing the power supply plug or disassembling the power supply and removing the 230V power supply from it.

    I built the system on Fibaro: FIBARO SINGLE SWITCH 2,and a 230V relay

    the relay is connected in parallel with the computer's power button, which allows the computer to be turned on in an emergency if Fibaro does not work.

     

    I first tested it on an older computer in the workshop, it worked and I moved the installation to the target station

     

    Now I can turn on my computer at home physically from the company I work for 😊, I can also turn it off if necessary

    Interesting application.

    Thanks for sharing the illustrative photos.

    Have you verified the signal range after covering the PC? It must work like a Faraday cage, but the function can be preserved.

  • There is an extensive network in the house, both LAN, fiber optic network and MESH network, which ensures communication at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz,
    The Farad cage does not interfere with the signal in this case.
    But you're right, I have a lot of partition walls and the equipment I had didn't really work well in this environment, honestly I was a bit disappointed, I thought it would be better, but the walls of my house are made of YTONGA. Unfortunately, I had to expand the network quite a bit to make everything work stably.

    This is only a fragment of the network that does not show Fibaro devices, I am in the process of implementation, and there are still about 20 devices in the workshop to connect.
    As for now - about 1.5 years, everything is stable, I hope that in the spring, when the garden and outdoor lighting will be controlled, it will still be the same.

    I tried the keyfob from every possible place in the house, I can assure you that it works.
