Z-Wave FGBHT-001 after reset and triple click no inclusion possible

Question

Posted (edited)

As the title header states, I am not able to include my Z-Wave FGBHT-001 Heat Controller into my network. Even when close to the HC2 and making a triple click. I don't get the confirmation with the white LED flashing...

I have reset the device (yellow and 1 click for confirmation) several times.

I have tried to include it and delete it. No results.

I must have said, that the device comes from another Z-wave network, but supposing a reset should forget the old connection...

I cannot get it included, while I have 6 others and they are having no problem at all and I'm known with the procedure...

If anybody can help, please 🙏

@jnathalia

Things you can try:

-Restart hc2

-After an unsucessfull include of a zwave device, parts of it could be included despite that, blocking the next including process.  Check your standard room if any ghost parts of a zwave device are visible? If yes try to delete them.

-Make sure you have excluded or reset the heat controller again before attemping another include process.

-Restart hc2 again before the next include process.

    Thanks for replying.

    As I said, I should be able to get the Heat Controller into inclusion mode (adding). The LED ring will not start blinking white, whatever I try with a triple click. That's already my problem!

    I know there might be ghost parts, but also I cannot notice anyone... Besides, what's the added value of restarting the HC2 if I cannot get the Heat Controller into inclusion mode? Also this I have tried, but no success...

    @jnathalia The restart homecenter value? This is just my experience with fibaro in several years. I even restart hc, before replacing the battery in a sensor.

    @tinman

    I think you are right...

    A guy sold me 2 Heat Controllers but looking at the code it's FGBHT-001. I already found it strange when writing the question and typing the FGBHT-001 code as stated on the device in this message.

    Thank you so much.

    I will add it via HomeKit! Let's see how that's working...
