Installation of Dimmer 2 for 2 way lighting

Question

Hi, new to Fibaro and need some help. Below is how my house 2 way lighting is wired up. I been wreaking my head on how to connect the Dimmer 2 to such a wiring system. Need help. Thanks.

Hi @Kah wei ,

 

If you can pull one additional wire between switch boxes then it is easy. Use added wire to bring "live" to the box near the light and then use other two wires for far switch box to control dimmer. Of course you will need to replace toggle with momentary switches and connect them in parallel to the dimmer terminals Sx and S1.

 

To use existing toggle switches you will need yet another wire to pull from dimmer terminal Sx to the far switch.

 

Since I could not pull another wire between switch boxes, I just eliminated one switch and use only another one where dimmer is installed. This was possible since my lighting in the house is automated and I do not use wall switches at all.

    Thanks for your advice, unfortunately I can't pull anymore wires across. 

     

    Am still studying any other possible ways.
