Aotec trisensor association group

Question

Posted

Hello,

I'm happy user of Fibaro HC2 and many switches of Fibaro as well. Recently I've purchased Aotec trisensor. Paired it with HC without issues. Association through association groups in HC2 of Fibaro switch to Aotec trisensor workfed,  but I could not set lux threshold for turning on the switch. Also I created scene, where lux threshold present, but I do not like how the scene works, slowly reacts, light is not turned off and things like that. I would like advice from experienced users of Aotec and Fibaro, please advice, is it possible, to set Aotec - Fibaro relay association where the command to turn on the switch is sent if lux drops to certain level only?

@HC2-056590 Hello and welcome to the community.

Association groups for zwave devices often only support basic functions like on/off. If I understand the manual of your sensor correctly, this is also the case with your aeotec trisensor. The tri sensor only uses the motion sensor for the asscoiation group feature.

A scene to turn on the switch depending on the lux, you have already.  Create another one, to turn off the switch off.

Are all scenes on your hc2 reacting slowly?

Thank you for the answer Fabir. I understood the same, Trisensor does not have functionality  to set lux threshold. what do you think, which option should I choose for turning of a switch?
