Let's take a hypothetical case

I have 72 rooms and I need to create 72 QA Thermostats. I create my own QA, a slider for temperature and a button for OFF. If I decide to change the init code and add something like

Please login or register to see this code.

I need to change every of the 72 QA. Is any way to create a QA based on other QA?

I am thinking to create a master QA and every other QA based on master, get the code from master. Any idea?

Thank you!

I think  you shouldn’t buy the castle 😂

1. you can create main QA with 71 child devices (more complicated but efficient)

2. in main QA create button for synchronization of setting with other QAs (relatively easy but inefficient - higher memory consumption)

you can also check my QA virtual sensors - there is a possible to create copy of sensor - I’m using it for example to have copy of humidity sensor that I have in living room for kitchen (in reality it is a same physical space)

Create a master QA that creates child’s with the device type com.fibaro.hvacSystemHeat

This is the thermostat (for heating) device, so you don’t have to program your own slider etc…
