CO Sensor beep every 30 secs

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I have 2 CO Sensors since a few years. One of them had battery low and was beeping every 30 secs. I replaced the battery, which is now reported ok, but it still beeps every 30 secs, with no led turning on. I tried everything, including factory-reset and re-adding to ZWave...

Any idea?

Thanks
Riccardo

You can have a look at the led color, so you know what the message is.

Hi, thanks, that's the point - led doesn't turn on when the beep is heard, every 30sec!

it happened to me with a bad battery, I put a rechargeable one and it did exactly the same thing

Hi, I tried buying a VARTA battery but result is the same... I'll open a case with Fibaro

    Thanks

Remove battery, press button a couple of seconds to drain the capacitor, insert battery.

    (like on the smoke sensor).

There should be an end date on the sensor. I think it would be 10 years (?)
