Z-water2 problem

Question

Posted

I have a problem with "z-water2". After configuration and connecting the "z-temp2" thermostats, everything works properly for a few days. Then there is the problem of turning each circuit on/off. When a change in the state of a given circuit should occur, there is a "click" in "z-water2", which is associated with switching on/off the circuit, but then there is a second "click" which restores the previous state. Restoring backups in the HC3 headquarters does not help, the only thing that fixes the situation is a factory reset "z-water2". I thought there was something wrong with one "z-water2" device, but now the problem has appeared with the other one too. The problem always affects all circuits at the same time - regardless of whether they are on or off and regardless of whether any associations are assigned to them or not.
In the "history" in HC3, only the first "click" is visible.

Have you sett te z-water 2 with multichannel?

I dont think it have a template yet. so you have to change from singelchannel to muliti against the controller yourself.

Had the same problem, it worked fine for a couple of weeks but suddenly stopped working. All the outputs had the same problem. Contacted Heatit about the issue:

"This is something we've seen before. The device would require an update which, unfortunately, isn't available as an OTA. In your case, the device will need to be replaced."

I returned the unit, got a replacement, which had the same problem but with one channel. Also replaced the second unit and now it's been trouble free for a couple of weeks.
