Flood sensor FGFS-101 v25.25 association group multiplication

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I had an interesting occurrence with my flood sensor older version. Suddenly it started to multiply association groups. Normally it has only 3 groups associated with Home Center 2. Yesterday just out of the blue it started adding association groups, one on each wake up.

At first I didn't take any actions, but when group 47 was added then I start worrying that this can cause corruption of z-wave database. When z-wave database get corrupted then more and more devices are reported as not configured and rebooting HC2 only makes it worse. Only having backup and restoring backup can solve problem.

I did a soft reconfiguration and for now it looks good.

I wanted to share this, because if anyone else notice same problem, then to know that soft reconfiguration should solve it.

Thank you for reading! :-)

It sounds a bit like a horror movie. Automatically adding associations more and more. Dangerous for your HC. Good thing you noticed.
