Question

Posted

Hi

Trying to get a Sonoff smart Zigbee TRV (TRVZB) working on a HC3. It connects successfully but config in HC3 shows it as "Type: Relay switch" rather than anything to do with climate (the Heat Controller FGT001 TRV is Type:Thermostatic Head with a temperature graph displayed).

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Graham

Good to hear I'm not on my own ;-).

I contacted Sonoff support and got the following:

"We are so sorry we did not test if the Fibaro can support our TRVZB or not, you can use our ZigBee bridge Pro to add the TRVZB.

    "

Looks like I'll have to buy their bridge or USB dongle via Home Assistant.

    Hi Shinsenai

Just had a response from Fibaro support:

"Thank you for sending the file with logs. Support for your device should be added in the next update.

    "

    Fingers crossed!

    Hi JF

I don't think it has, haven't seen any mention of TRVZB in HC3 change logs. I've just managed to get one integrated into Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT add in, looks promising. I'm already running HC3 <-> MQTT Bridge to get Fibaro devices into HA. I now need to go in the opposite direction to get the TRVZB working in HC3 with a QA(???). Still investigating.......

Sorry for the delay in replying, only on here when I have a problem!

    Regards

Currently looking into Zigbee2MQTT QA which look like it would be relatively easy to modify were it not for the fact that it is in an old format(?). You'd still need a MQTT server to act as a broker, I believe.
