UPDATE BETA 5.152.24 & RGBW modul update

1.  Devices stuck in unconfigured state after soft reconfiguration. Process never ends. Several tickets has been sent about similar sympthoms

2. RGBW moduls /not all, some of them/ after FW update doesn't react to TurnON TurnOff commands at all. Increasing brigthness doesn't help. Modul is just unusable. After soft reconfig, the modul stuck in unconfigured state. After system restart, the system assigns compelty new IDs to the device, but still unusable. Before update, it worked normally.

3. RGBW moduls still randomly loosing color. There is no color at all set on the module, so light can not be turned on, as there is no color set. We need to manually set the color again. / usually happens after system restart.

The modules affected before with unconfigured state may need full reconfiguration or reinclusion.

@Neo Andersson The same here, all of my RGBW modules have stopped working with the new beta for the hc.

Updating the modules from 5.0 to 5.1 was time consuming.

One modul have failed mutliple times with the firmware update. Only after I exludet/includet it before the firmware update, it finally took the 5.1 update. And also some error messages thru the firmware update. Like I should restart the homecenter and the services. 

 

After the the firmware update, all modules hat to be excludet/includet again, as it is mentioned in the release notes.

Still a lot of issues with RGBWS

At least the RGBWs are not losing configurations after system restart, but other issues still remain

System restart causing some RGBWs stopping to work. Ticket #293305 They doesnt react to anything. I see in log window some warnings

Some of them drops values, colors..Needed to manualy reset.

1. soft reconfiguration, keeps their original parent with original ID, and child devices changing IDs !!!!!

2. full reconfig / device removed, re-added from configuration tab /  keeps their original parent with original ID, and child devices changing IDs !!!!! 

 

So so frustrating...loosing clients that have dozens of rgbws. Some even asked for refund..

What a mess

Některé z nich padají hodnoty, barvy.. Nutné ručně resetovat.

1. Soft rekonfigurace, zachovává jejich původní rodič s původním ID a podřízená zařízení mění ID !!!!!

2. úplná rekonfigurace / zařízení odstraněno, znovu přidáno z konfigurační karty / zachovává jejich původní rodič s původním ID a podřízená zařízení mění ID !!!!! 

 

Tak frustrující...ztráta klientů, kteří mají desítky rgbw. Někteří dokonce požádali o vrácení peněz. .

@m.roszak Michal, can you tell us, will the RGBW problems solved? 

Just now, my customer called me..

His system is running on 5.152.24 (beta), and right now, after a system restart, some RGBWs just stopped reacting to anything.

So i logged into his system, and noticed, that some RGBW moduls just lost their color setting. There was no color selected for these devices at all. (Also warm white slider dropped to 0)

So i had to select some color, just to make the device react to turn ON, or turn OFF

Is there any fix coming for these bugs around RGBWS

I cannot update 2 RGBW modules from 5.0 to 5.1. The update process keeps aborting at the last moment. I have tried this several times and always get the same abort at the end of the update process. What could be the reason for this?
