I have a swipe mounted behind a wall and can access menu with gestures.
I am having issues getting it to join my z-wave network. I can hold my hand over the swipe and hear the awake sounds (2 loud beeps), then the single quiet beep, then the double quiet beep, then I swipe up and hear the louder double beep. But the swipe does not show on the z-wave hub as trying to join. I have also gone to the three quiet beeps to try and reset the swipe, then add again.
I am using a URC z-wave hub and have had swipes connected to these hubs on other projects.
I have moved the hub to be about 3 feet away from the built-in swipe so I’m not depending on the other devices on the z-wave network to join it.
I am obviously trying to avoid opening up the wall to troubleshoot, any suggestions?
