Issue with Yubii when using it remotely, but not locally

Question

Posted

Hi,

In the Yubii app, if I try to click on a thermostat to change its temperature remotely I just get a "loading extension" that is replaced by a white screen with a blue dot that is pulsating. Nothing comes up no matter how long I wait. This happens when I use the app from a remote location. When I am connected to the same network as the Home Center 3 lite itself it works perfectly and instantly, loads the interface with all settings etc. I am running the latest version of Yubii and the latest non-beta version on my Home Center 3 lite. Using the web interface for remote access to Home Center 3 lite from a remote location works fine. I am on an iPhone with the latest iOS loaded. I have found posts about this issue on this forum, but none of the suggestions have worked for me. Please help - it is cumbersome to use the web interface to control this remotely.

Welcome to the forum xavv. Use the search function on this forum, there are several posts about the Yubii app not working. (And let's hope the issue will be solved soon by Fibaro/Nice)
