hello

I have a simple question but no answer.
I have an ESP8266 and a temperature sensor and HC2.
The ESP returns a JSON file that looks like this:

{ "TaskValues": [ {"ValueNumber":1, "Name":"temperature", "NrDecimals":2, "Value":19.94 }], "TTL":60000, "TaskEnabled":"true", "TaskNumber":1 }

path to it

http://192.168.2.154/json?view=sensorupdate&tasknr=1

how to get the value "19.9" from it to the VD

    I typed something like this :

    local thisdevice = fibaro:getSelfId()
    local conn = Net.FHttp(fibaro:getValue(thisdevice, 'IPAddress'), fibaro:getValue(thisdevice, 'TCPPort')) -- connection espeasy/port
    response, status, errorCode = conn:GET('/json?view=sensorupdate')
    fibaro:debug(response)

    if tonumber(status) == 200 then
        jsonTable = json.decode(response); -- decode table json espeasy
        else
        fibaro:debug("error, status="..status)
        end
    fibaro:sleep(60*1000)

    I receive:

    [DEBUG] 09:28:00: {"Sensors":[ { "TaskValues": [ {"ValueNumber":1, "Name":"temperature", "NrDecimals":2, "Value":20.38 }], "TaskEnabled":"true", "TaskNumber":1 } ], "TTL":60000 }

    how to enter a value 20.38  in a variable

    Hi @piotr.mordarski ,

    try this code:

    Please login or register to see this code.

    Above code will get value from first sensor and its first value.
