Michael, can we await some bug fixes and improvements about QA UI controls? You mentioned in one of your earlier posts, that there will be some big changes.

 

BUGS

Switch type button is buggy

Dropdown is unusable in case of longer list, and touch scroll from inside the list doesnt really work.

 

IMPROVEMENTS

Can we await any new controls that we can use?

Can we await more customazible layout? Like example slider and button in one row, or some customizable padding, marging? 

Can we await a real improvement of the slider !!!!? It is very cumbersome to use.

Also the slider lua usage is really a pain in the neck. Some improvement on it? Label customization, orientation vertical, horizontal, ec

When you hit the slider nod and drag, you actually don't see where you at, becuase your finger covers the label. The slider itself should be way thicker to get easily hit.

Something like you have for example for brightness control in RGBWs and dimmers see below

This is in progress  It does not work on Android only, on iOS its working ok.

The rest, we will evaluate what we can and what we can't do.
As for the Switch issue, it works ok for new views, I will check what we could do in webview solution there.

How to handle switch, I will paste it later in the separate topic you are asking for an explanation.

@m.roszak Maybe the time picker..well it would be a gam changer i think..like forexample it is used in Zone thermostat views when we selelect time markers..

Now we dont have any really workable solution for time picking, only by two buttons and a label, with LUA code and it is really old fashioned and cumbersome..

Anything would help, that ease our QA creation..
