FGS221 & FGS223 inclusion/exclusion far from HC2

Question

Posted

Hello everyone,

I'm unable to find an answer to this question so far, thank you for any help!

I am able to include/exclude an FGS223 from my ageing HC2 box far from the FGS' location. Guess it's done via the mesh network somehow.

Now I am trying to exclude an old FGS221 that is at the same location as the FGS223 but the box doesn't see the exclusion request.

Is this a functionality that FGS221 doesn't support? Do I really have to unplug the box and move it closer to the FGS221 ? 🤔

Thank you!

Network wide inclusion and network wide exclusion was introduced in the newer Z-Wave SDK, FGS221 is an old 300 series module which does not support it on the protocol level.
