Hello,

The forum access/login process has two really frustrating aspects:

  • You must be logged in to view a lot of content - nopt just attachments but quotes and codeblocks too.
    • Why force people  to be logged in?
    • It's a frustration for existing customers.
    • It's a turn off for potential customers who might be considering your products and looking to see if issues/capabilities exist.
  • When logging in from a forum thread, you are not returned to the thread logged in, but instead taken to a profile page.

Very frustrating - no reason to have all this content locked behind a log in, and the lack of redirect back to the referring page is just lazy web dev.

Twice this week. No reason it should log me out, but it does.

But in any case, I would argue back: Is it so difficult to just make the content public and redirect people logging in to the thread they came from like literally every other forum on the internet?
