Question

I would like to measure whether there is any water left (or even better the depth of water) in my capillary box (a self-irrigating box for plants).
Basically, I want to measure if there is _no_ flooding. Would I be able to configure the flood sensor to alert me if there is no flooding?
I assume I could use the "clear flooding alarm" signal from it to let me know that I need to add water to the boxes.
But what about battery power? Will the sensor keep sending flood alert signals as long as it measures water, or will it send the alert only once? If it sends them regularly I expect it will deplete the battery quite quickly.
