Rest Api filtering output data

Hello,

I'd like to filter the rest api result on specific field (property).

For example http://hcip/api/devices/34

This gives me the whole JSON object with all date the properties about the device, but i would like to have only specific fields like name,id,value,type for exaple.

In the swagger I see there is and endpoint which should be a similar functionality, but does not work to devices like a wall plug.
