Hello Gurus of Fibaro,

What goes in those two parameters to get list of e.g. user icons:

Whatever I put in those parameters I never get anything but gibberish.

Also, does anyone have local path to the different types of icons? What I need is path to the weather icons?

Depends on your firmware version, mine is 5.160.30. If you query without the device filter you get all the icons. You wil see the devicetypes you can filter on (e.g. com.fibaro.weather). If you filter on devicetypes and get an 502 error, just copy past the url in you browser and try again.

    Thanks @SmartHomeEddy ,

will try as you suggested. But I still like to know local path to at least weather icons on HC3. Maybe then I can use them with QA instead of importing dozen of icons that actually already exist on HC3.

Do you mean the weather condition icons?

    @SmartHomeEddy

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. :-)

I don't think the api call will work for those icons. It was some time ago, but I think the local path was something like [IP]/assets/icon/weather/normal-set/1.svg where the number is the weather condition. (I'm remote now, can't test it)

    Yes, also [IP]/assets/icon/weather/circle-set/1.svg

    Ex.

Please login or register to see this code.

Make sure the QA has a label named 'icons'. Probably only works with the old view that allows html...

One could also install them as QA icons

Would also cache them in the QAs internalStorage so they are not reloaded at every startup

    Hmm, a bit too complicated.

This seems to work as label text too...

    Hi @SmartHomeEddy @jgab ,

that is exactly what I was looking for :-)

@jgab , thanks for the code provided. Will play with it. Problem I want to solve is to avoid necessity for users to install 40 and more icons for weather provider as it was necessary for HC2 users. One solution is to still import icons in specific order and in QA only setup ID of the first icon and then QA can get the rest. Another solution is to use already existing icons on the HC3 to simplify installation as much as possible.
