Forum QuickApp download file type limitation, why?

Why is download section for Quick Apps upload file types limited to fqa, pdf, png???

 

I mean, on Fibaro marketplace it is possible to upload ZIP packages, even here for e.g. Virtual Devices it is possible to upload ZIP packages which are best way of distributing users work? Even fqax is not possible to upload here, damn...

 

Can you please check with your colleagues to change this 'nonsense'?

Long time ago I decided not to use the forum download section because the moderation took far too long. Maybe that changed, the moderation of the Marketplace is fast (but has less functions). Maybe I should use the download section. 
 

But I am still hoping Fibaro makes a new marketplace / download combination with nice features to publish quickapps, manage them and talk about it. That would definitely make publishing quickapps more tempting and would raise the amounts of quickapps to download and use by the community. I know for 100% there are a lot more quickapps out there that don’t get published! 
 

And I also know for sure there are some quickapp developers out there, who would want to help Fibaro with thoughts, testing, etc. about that new marketplace / download combination. 
 

(And because we all know, Fibaro is also a commercial business, I know there is a positive business case for that new marketplace / download combination) 

 

So we know a lot, why doesn’t it happen?
