Roller Shutter 3 without switch/buttons. Possible?

Question

Posted

Good day everyone,

i have the idea to buy some Roller Shutter 3 for my home but in the manual it say that to calibrate them you need  to click three times the connected switch/button.

My problem is that i have no wired switch/button to control my roller blinds ( they have the cable but i opted for the wireless radio buttons so that i hadn't to do extra masonry work )

Can i set the roller shutter without the switch or i need to connect them to a temporary switch?

From the manual:

Calibration using the B-button

Make sure:

the device is supplied,

the device added to the Z-Wave network,

parameter 151 is set to 1 or 2.

Press and hold the B-button.

Wait for the LED to glow white.

Quickly release and click the B-button again.

The device will perform the calibration process, completing full cycle up, down and up again

Test whether the positioning works correctly.

Calibration using parameter

Make sure:

the device is supplied,

the device added to the Z-Wave network,

parameter 151 is set to 1 or 2.

Set the parameter 150 value to 2

The device will perform the calibration process, completing full cycle up, down and up again

The parameter 150 value will be set to 1 after calibration finishes.

Test whether the positioning works correctly.
