Setting the LED ring brightness in scenes with LUA

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello,

I have some Walli controllers and I can set the ring brightness with a simple command in LUA:

hub.call(id, 'setProperty', "ringBrightness",value)
For example, if the id of the controller is 296 and the value of the brightness is 20, then the command in LUA scene will be:

hub.call(296, 'setProperty', "ringBrightness",20)

I am trying to do the same for Walli dimmer and Walli switch, but it doesn't work.
Can anyone tell me what is the correct command for the dimmer, for the switch and for the roller shutter?

Thanks a lot!

You can try: hub.call(id, "setValue",20)

Thanks for the answer, but I don't think it can work, the device does not know which property value to set to 20....

@videovox You can set the led ring brightness of a Walli Dimmer/Switch/RollerShutter with the following command:

Please login or register to see this code.

Where 158 is the device ID and 20 is the brightness percentage of the led ring.

Thanks a lot Stycx! Working correct.

I wonder why this command and maybe many others are not documented in the device's user manual... or maybe I don't know where to search...
