Dimmer 2 use for a 4-way wiring configuration in US

Question

Posted

I've been struggling to understand how I can use the dimmer 2 switch in the following wiring configuration.   I'm desperate and hoping that someone can tell me how to insert the dimmer 2 in the following diagram.   This information is holding back a building project which is ongoing.

Which wires connect to which dimmer 2 leads.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the online manual for wiring diagrams. Get your system working using a standard light switch first. Then swap your single light switch for the string of 4 switches. All the 4 switches do is provide a single switched "hot" wire, the same as comes from a single switch.
