Zigbee roller shutter

Question

Posted

Hello everyone, I have roller shutters with zigbee control. They are not yet supported by HC3. Is it possible to create a QA to be able to integrate them?
I'm new to QA but it would be a good exercise to test.
Shutters are recognized on the network but cannot be configured as shutters
THANKS

If Zigbee device does not work natively, then QA will not help to you.

You could set-up Home Assistant and integrate Zigbee Roller Shutter to it and then integrate Home Assisstant via QA. Or you could change Zigbee Roller Shutter for Z-Wave one.

    Thank you for your comeback.
I cannot switch to Z-Wave because the shutter motors integrate Zigbee directly into the hardware.
Can a plugin compensate for the lack of coding in hc3?
