I was wondering whether in the future - the changelog could be updated with more detail on the specific changes - after all the knowledge section of the site is not updated to reflect any new functionality. Perhaps some screen shots of before and after when the UI is changed? This would allow users to be able to understand the context of the changes and the impacts on their current configuration.

I definitely agree here.  For example: "Added support for numerous old-gen devices (ZW300, ZW500 series)".  Not even a single example of what types of devices that might mean.
