Question

Posted (edited)

Devolo Magic 2 devices can be queried with this QA. It is a binary sensor that is triggered when the bandwidth falls below a specified value.

I have tested this without user and password, just for information. url http://<DEVOLO_IP/assets/data.cfl is used to query values.

Parameters (variables)

  • DEVOLO_IP: IP address of the central Devolo device. Important: The device cannot report RX/TX data by itself! Therefore, use the same IP for all devices and select others via ID.
  • DEVICE_ID: Starts at 1 and must be increased for each device.
  • MIN_MBits: Limit value from which the sensor should trigger
  • INTERVALL: Query in seconds

Use at your own risk, I have written the device myself for my own purposes and the code can be used without any guarantee of completeness and correctness. If you don't want to take any risks, just leave it. Code is still subject to change.

Have fun!
