downgrade from 4.9 to 4.1

Question

Posted

Hello,
I have information about the new firmware in my HC3.
It is strange why I have to update my Heat Controller
from my FW version 4.9 to the "new" 4.1.

I'm definitely not letting it go just yet. I lost three Heat Controllers after the last update. They never worked again.

Isn't there a mistake in the marking?

Which hub do you have? Where you see "4.1" instead of "4.10"?
In general, I am 100% sure that you got 4.10 now, maybe it is a display issue in a specific part of the interface - it is impossible to downgrade the firmware.

The device version originates from 2 hex values, application version and application-subVersion.
It means that it look like this 0x04 0x0A which translates to 4.10.

    oops.
i got it now :-) My fault

I somehow ignored the zero at the end  :-)

I read it as 4.9 or 4.1, but I'm used to similar markings, such as fw version HC3 - 5.030 as in the archive.
And that's why I was scared because it appeared after installing fw HC3 beta.
