List device descriptions

Hello,

 

In my HC3, I used DESCRIPTION for devices to record their exact phy6sical location.

 

I would like to build a list containing 

  - Level

  - Room

  - Device name

  - Description

 

I can get this except the description, whuich is the important bit.

@Kees Buth In the Api ipaddress/api/devices/getDevice/devicenumber (or with Swagger) you can find userDescription

Sorry, never used that... But usiung sample it showed userDecription as property name. That was the key. Thanks!!

You’re welcome. I reconed you have a script or quickapp with a request for the fields you mentioned. If you use an api.get on the device, you will get most of the info you want. You probably need a section name and room name and you have it all.
