scenes not saving

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello,

I did factory reset to HC3. When rebooted selected zwave engine 3 (was previously engine 2). Everything seems fine. I was able to re add all devices. However I am unable to save any block-scenes.

I can add scenes, HC3 will remember them when they are empty but when I'm adding blocks I'm unable to save the scene. Save button is not selectable at all.

When going back to scene list I get an error:

There are some changes that cannot be saved.

Do you want to leave the page without saving?

What am I missing?

before factory reset everything worked.

HC3 fw version 5.161.15 (beta)

First things first @tonis_t You know Z-Wave engine 3.0 is a beta version?

Yes, I know it is a beta version I have read up on it but never encountered any info that scenes are not saving.

Indeed it won’t be related. I just wanted to save you from other dissaster you can’t solve yourself.  You are now officially beta tester for Fibaro 👑

Not saving blockscenes probably means you still have to insert some value or so. Maybe share a picture from a blockscene, so we can be more specific .

    Dear sir.

Thank you your insight. Turns out that I'm blind and dumb. You were exactly right - one option was not defined.
