New Yubii home app works only on wifi

Question

Posted

Hi,

recently the new Yubii home app only works when I am on WiFi. Whenever I switch to mobile data the app won’t connect to my hc3. The old app works fine. I have iOS.

does someone know how to get the app working again?

I am on Android and have Yubii home version 2.2.0 and HC3 version 5.160.42, I can access my system remotely (no wifi). I know this doesn't help in your situation, but maybe it is an IOS specific setting not Yubii.

Hopefully somebody on IOS responds to this post

I have been experiencing the same issue  since the IOS update. My mobile currently is on IOS version 17.7 and mobile data is enabled for Yubii app, though it’s working on WiFi only. Old school Fibaro app is not impacted.

Same for me. I know remote access fundamentally works, as I can log in through fibaro portal on an off network computer.

EDIT: The old app (white icon for me on AU iOS app store) works. I narrowly escaped divorce after this old app previously turned every light on in the house at midnight using only my pocket and five seconds of my time, plus it's end of life, so I am not super keen to use it....but I thought I'd mention this in case anyone else find this a suitable workaround for now.
