I'm looking for a 230V pir switch for the garden

Question

Posted

I don't know what it is, but there are fewer manufacturers of z-wave devices, I can't find an outdoor PIR switch for the garden. I use a STEINEL IS 140-2 Z-Wave, but they are no longer made by the manufacturer and it works incorrectly. I haven't found anything usable anywhere. In a while there will be only fibaro products that are still the same, no innovations and gradually this protocol will die.

Yeah, Pir sensor are rare. I have used a few normal once to trigger s2 inputs on the dimmer2. It works greath, but have a "deadband/timer" 5min minimum.

And you wont get the standard z-wave device then.

But we might get some soon, z-wave LR is out in the us, and if I am not wrong it is also ok for the EU market too soon?

So we might get some new devices with z-wave too 😄

You can use alomst any kind of regular PIR sensir that gives you a signal, and connect it to an implant. This is the way as we are doing it at these times. Theres no proper outdoor  zwave PIR on the market.

I can recommend Satel PIR sensors. They are quite good and work well with implant.
