Garage door opener - Nice Spido 600 - integration

Question

Posted

Hi all. My old garage door opener brokes after a years of service, then this was opportunity to install new one - maybe fit better to Fibaro - as it is one group.

My old door opener was equipped with Smart Implant.

So installation went smooth, and I was able do add the device directly, but the working for me was the "Mono" protocool type - means - there is no feedback from device to HC3.

BiDirectional pairing is not working.

My question is - what is needed to be done to be able to connect using bidirectional protocool?

At the moment - i have functionality as before - mean - can operate the gate the same way as by Smart Implant - but it looks just smart implant is integrated in the device.

I'm looking for the functionality like open/close state visible in the app.

Yeah - it's a solution - but I'm looking for nice and clean solution. No cables, no additional sensors etc.

What I found is the module Nice BiDi - Z-Wave. It's plug & play solution for me.
