Since we live inn new apartment we have the same sensor on the front door.

3 times we have alarm on the front door if we are away.

Second sensor mounted.

Apartment >> Armed

We are away from home

3rd day:

Original sensor  >>>>> open Alarm activated

Second sensor >>>>> closed

Happenly we have also a radar and pir who informed us NO movement.

Curious what or how it happend.

That is interesting. I have dozen of them, but since we didn't use alarm lately can't say if have same problem here. Will make a scene to monitor them.

BTW - sensors updated to the latest firmware?

Also use the Fibaro  sensor FGDW-002, approx 12 on doors and windows ,for alarm and roller shutter scenes. Window open, roller shutter to ventilation position.

No alarms or spooky roller shutter movements.

    @Flash,

I have 40 pieces installed for 6 years.

One is giving alarm without any reason.

So my message is to see if this happens also by other users.

I understand, and appreciate that. It’s good to know if you are the only one with these kind of issues, or that more people having similar issues.
As you have seen ,I do not have so much door/window-sensors as you,  but also about 5 a 6 years. Maybe older, have one or two of the previous version. Hopefully for you it stays with only one “broken” sensor. Or finding the cause why.

The most easy solution is chosen replace the faulty one.

I understand I will not be able to find the cause.

    Thanks for remark
