Update to 5.171.15 | Inability to control devices remotely

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I have updated my HC3 unit to the 5.171.15 firmware and since then can't control some of the devices remotely. It seems to me there is an issue with the devices linked with S0 security on.

Rolled back to the previous version 5.170.16 did not solve the issue.

Any advice how to get this mess sorted out would be highly appreciate.

Thank you, Lubos

Hi,
Could you give me some more information:
- does devices that you cannot control from gateway update their status in system when controlled manually?
- is it only zwave devices with S0?
- is it all of such device ore just some of them?
- which zwave engine are you using?
- are you sure it is not range issue? (devices moved, some node in mesh dead, etc)
- is it as single gateway setup, or "gateway connection" setup?

    Hi,

    - does devices that you cannot control from gateway update their status in system when controlled manually?
actually no, it turned out the behavior is not consistent - some devices are fully controllable, some of them no, however, those that cannot be controlled and do not report their current state report the power consumption; when i click the device interface, the visibility of the device is changed in the interface as it should but the controlled device itself does not do anything

    - is it only zwave devices with S0?
    it seems that way

    - is it all of such device ore just some of them?
haven't check all of them but it seems so

    - which zwave engine are you using?
    v. 4.33 (2.0)

    - are you sure it is not range issue? (devices moved, some node in mesh dead, etc)
definitely - not moved any of them; all of that just happening after upgrade and not returned to normal even after rollback the last backup with previous firmware version

    - is it as single gateway setup, or "gateway connection" setup?

    single gateway setup
