Can Yubii Home manage WiFi devices?

Question

Posted

Hello,

reading the online manual of Yubii Home YH-001, i found that it's:

"Capable of controlling compatible devices using the following radio standards:

Nice FLOR, OPERA and PLN2+,

Elero PLN2,

Z-Wave (700 series),

Wi-Fi – 2.4 GHz (802.11 b/g/n)"

I always thought that the only protocols supported were Z-Wave and NICE/ELERO.... Anyone has experience about how to configure WiFi devices?

I would like to add an external temperature probe to my system, and I often find WiFi models at good price, when z-wave are much expensive.

Thank you very much

Yes you can integrate wifi devices that support some form of local api or with cloud.
But it have to be made a quickapp or a plugin(by fibaro) to add thoose devices :)

You could also use scenes to send a command, but this will not be a good integration as a QA can support.

If the wifi device support webhooks, Http, https, ++++(I dont know the standards😆)  local stuff you could integrate it with fibaro :D
