How to use Dimmer 2 with TCI LED-driver

Question

Posted (edited)

Above my ceiling I have multiple TCI DC Minijolly LC LED-drivers.

Please login or register to see this attachment.

Can I use the Dimmer 2 to work with these LED-drivers (if yes, how to connect?).

Or do I need other LED-drivers to work with the Dimmer 2 (if yes, what to look for?).

Who would have thought that the world of LED drivers could be such a labyrinth? I really should have done my homework before buying the 'Dimmer 2'.

When I discovered that the 'Dimmer 2' was not compatible, I decided to replace all the drivers with ones that have built-in Z-wave. However, these drivers turned out to be too large to install without damaging the driver or the ceiling.

In the end, I bought a few 'Shelly Dimmer 0/1-10V PM Gen3' units. Unfortunately the 'Qubino Flush Dimmer 0-10V' was three times as expensive and works with a 12/24V DC input instead of a 110-240V AC input.

With the Shelly, I don't need an extra power supply, which makes the installation much easier. Too bad it isn’t Z-wave.
