Help!!!!!
I have a Homecentre Lite which operates devices successfully in my house.
Now I want to add a new device to an existing device that turns my outdoor lights on and off.
The on/off switches for the outdoor lights are in my workshop building which is quite a distance from the hub. So I purchased a Zwave extender and plugged it in to a socket which is approximately halfway between the hub and the new SmartStart Z-wave 800 series workshop switch.
To pair the extender with the hub, I found an existing light switch close to the hub and replaced with new z-wave extender and added to the hub. Worked fine
The paired Smartstart switch was transferred over and swapped with the light switch in my workshop which is approximately 150 feet from the hub
I created a magic scene to include all six or so outdoor lights. The SmartStart Z-wave switch did not activate one set of outdoor lights.
Can anyone help please?????
