What is wrong with my heat controller?

Question

Posted

I have a heat controller in the bedroom, which I set to 21°C at night. Unfortunately, the value fluctuates significantly via the external sensor. On Monday, the temperature dropped to 19.8°C before the radiator warmed up again. It then heated up to 22.3°C. My aim is to maintain a constant temperature, especially in the bedroom, which doesn't seem to be possible with fibaro. I have to say that I reset the heat controller to the factory settings a few days before because I was not satisfied with the result of the heating curve, I thought the algorithm might be learning again.

What am I doing wrong or what is wrong with my settings? Can I open a ticket with fibaro support so that someone can take a look at my algorithm?

Thanks for your feedback

Try to perform an head calibration.

Hold the button on head until white and then press the button again.

In one occasion worked for me. Head lost calibration.

@Michael78

Hello.

It may not necessarily be a problem with the regulator.

Please write whether you have sheet metal or cast iron radiators. Do you live in a family house or an apartment building?

What is your heat source? (own boiler, shared boiler room, heat pump,...)

Proper regulation also assumes heat at the input. Have you monitored that the heating system was not already in setback at the time you assumed regulation?

With shared heating, it is no exception that the heating system goes into setback several times during the day and night.
