Heat controller set up with floor heating in same room

Question

Posted

Hi,

I have in whole home floor heating which is controlled by Salus Electro thermal actuators and window/door sensor as temperature controlls. I have in my bathroom one radiator for which I have bought Fibaro heat controller (without external temperature divice). I have successfully installed it and configured in Fibaro. I have added it to "Climat schedule" under my Bathroom section, but I have 3 components for this device what is for me strange as for floor heating I see only 2 (temprature and actuators:

Additionally in "Climat schedule" under my Bathroom section I can choose bothe devices and for floor heating there is only added one, so I do not know if iI should add both of them or only one:

This is how it looks under devices set up:

I also have noticed that device have had in the set up different temperaure than in shedule so I have changed it manually. But it stll seems to not to control the radiator, I can feel the floor heating is working but radiator seems to be cold. When I set up it manually for higher temperature then it works and the radiator is hot:

Can anyone advice if I messed up anything with the set up?

Also, is it possible to connect door/window sensor so the heat controller uses its temperature to control?

Thanks in advance

@XiaoTu

Things you can try:

Exclude the heat controller from hc3

Restart hc3

Include the heat controller to hc3 again

If the issue persists, try to include with or without security.

I have manged to get the heat controller to react to change of the temrature at the Lazienka button in app, but I still have additional 121.0 device in "Climat schedule". Should it be enabled or disabled?

    1. first of all, hide first 2 devices: (it should be hidden when You add them to HC3)

2 . : buy external temperature sensor to termostat  - You will have temperature every 10mins, and its more acurate. door senror is bad idea

    3. set this parameter:

    4. use "heat activator" device to control salus valves, set hysteresis to 0,5st

    5. finally You will have to test it,

Hi @GanzConrad , thanks for helping me. So I should hide 122 and 123? 84 was set up by Fibaro installer and I haven't made any changes to it, and it is part of floor heating.

Second question, what is "heat activator" device? Is it this external temperature sensor? Or it should be for my floor heating? I thought Fibaro installer configured floor heating correctly...

no, You should have 4 devices, and first 2 of them should by automatically hidden. Try to remove it from z-wave and add again.
