Hello, after installing the new version 2.3.1, the application is still running in the background. This is the same on both iPhone and iPad. The device's battery is draining a lot.

Changing the settings "run in background" to off and removing app from memory helped me. But that isn't the way it should work.

I thought my iPhone battery was dying, thanks for this post

Same battery draining issue here, driving me nuts. Something with audio? The integration of the intercom part they've upgraded in the latest update? Hotfix or rollback would be preferable.

By disabling the "background activities"  and removing the app from memory, I got my iPhone battery usage to 0% (none).

Mine has been doing this too, and background was set to off. The background run time is over 22 hours, but that plus the foreground run time is still less than 23 Hours so it’s not quite “all day” - but that could have been the amount of time I’ve not been on the local

network in the last 24 lol.

i will try putting background  on and off again I guess

this is pretty uncool in any case

I think you will have to remove the app from memory (that "solved" it for me)

Hello,

no problems here. I have turned on everything including geofencing and my iPhone battery last as always for 2-3 days.

Hello,

correction to my previous post. After upgrading my iPhone to iOS 18.3 I left Yubii Home app to run in the background and it depleted my iPhone battery quite quickly. I usually close app, but this time I decided to leave it running in the background and get same result as all of you.

I guess that if Yubii Home app is left to run in the background then it gets updates from the HC box which in turn depletes battery more quickly. Of course, closing it and then opening it when it is needed can also be annoying, depending on the time it needs to open. I still didn't check if geofencing is working when app is closed, but since location service is set to "always" i guess it should work just like it works with my Geofency app and I didn't notice any increased battery depletion when the app is closed.

Hi @petro_cz ,

Just close app when you don't need it. Don't leave it running in the background.

Could it be solved in the new version 2.3.2 ?

Looks like it is solved in the new version 2.3.2.

I can confirm that battery consumption seems to be solved, but there are many other bugs that are still present in this new version.
