Question

I have two heat controllers paired with one external temperature sensor. Usually there is a difference between both - sometimes 1deg, sometimes 5deg.
I wonder how temperature sensor behaves when battery is changed? Does it maintain pairing with controller? Both controllers report, that sensor is paired. But 5deg difference is a bit to much and temperature reading not from sensor but from controller itself would explain such big difference.
I have my sensors stick to walls, so I can't pair them without removing battery for a while. Maybe they loose pairing when doing so?
