Cannot find my Home in the Fibaro Intercom app

Question

Posted (edited)

I have installed a brand new wired Fibaro Intercom, and need som help to set it up. Some background: I have a Fibaro ID, and approx 200 devices connected to my HC3, and I have added and configured them my self, and programmed some 100 different scenes. So not a completely newbie. This is my first Intercom, though. The HC3 is connected to both wifi and ethernet.

My Samsung phone is connected to the same wifi as the HC3. I follow the stages in this

. Problem is, that my Home is not listed when I am supposted to "Choose the home you want to connect to". No way! I have restartet modem/switch/HC3/phone, I have reinstalled the Fibaro Intercom app, I have done factory reset on the Intercom several times, but my Home won't list!

When I push the bell button on the Intercom, the app on my phone rings, and i can se a very unfocused, lagging video of a rather narrow section in front of the camera. There are no settings at all, so now it is the most expensive low quality video door intercom imaginable (se lossless screenpic).

What do I do wrong? How can I get this thing connected to my home central, triggering scenes, opening my Z-wave door lock etc?

@mortenstein

I havent tried that intercom before, but it is a plugin for it under add device-> other devices-> search for: fibaro intercom 🤔 Maybe that can help you add it to the HC3

and the "home" part wont list your HC3 I think. Since the intercome can be used as a standalone product I think 🤔

So just give it a name and make a home.

I hope you made the right choice or got it cheap. Fibaro Nice is aiming on the Nice MyBell.

We would like to inform you that sales of the FIBARO Intercom will be discontinued as of May 1, 2025.

This decision aligns with our commitment to developing innovative technologies that offer enhanced performance, functionality and customization to better meet your needs. As part of our modernization efforts and the introduction of MyBell products, discontinuing the FIBARO Intercom is a natural step forward.
