hello everyone,

Since I updated with the new firmware 5.180.17, my HC3 receives these messages:

Please login or register to see this attachment.

The system detected a failed login to the Secure Shell console from the IP: xxxxxxxxxxx.
If you are unsure whether the login is coming from a known source, please contact support for more information.

Never had anything before.

What can I check / do?

I also opened a ticket to support but no one answers me.

Thanks.

Fabrizio

Can you identify that IP address?

Try to check this IP address in your network, something is trying to access SSH console (port 22).

    Thanks all for your answers....

all the IP addresses I see are external and I don't know them..

    am I under attack?
how is it possible that I see all these messages only after the update?

what can I do in this case?

    Hi

we see only you external IP but it is propably your IP (hub should not be exposed on internet like port forwarding so please check it). We added this for incoming RED Directive where all IOT devices should be more secure, and they should report login attepts for users

    Hi A.Socha,

Actually I hadn't thought about the firewall, I checked and I had port 22 open on HC3.
closed the port, the messages disappeared.

    Thanks.
