[HC3 QA] Samsung SmartThings AC integration

Question

Posted

I just created and published a QuickApp that integrates Samsung SmartThings AC units with Fibaro HC3.

It lets you control your air conditioner via Fibaro using the SmartThings API.

Features:

  • Auto-Discovery: Automatically discovers and adds SmartThings AC devices
  • Cooling Mode Control: Thermostat functionality with cooling mode support (other modes are not supported)
  • Fan Control: Multiple fan speed settings (Auto, Low, Medium, High, Turbo)
  • Optional Modes: Support for WindFree and Speed modes
  • Automatic Status Updates: Periodic polling and status updates (default: 60-second intervals)
  • OAuth2 Authentication: Secure token-based authentication with auto-refresh

Setup instructions and other details are available in the README on my GitHub:

Please login or register to see this link.

Enjoy!
