Aeotec Home Energy Meter Showing As 4 Meters in HC2

Question

Posted

We have a single clamp energy meter for a single phase setup. In HC2, under Consumption tab, it shows 4 Home Energy Meter with checkboxes.

Is it because the software is capable to support 3 clamps for three phase setup? But I don't understand why there's a fourth one?

The 1st and 2nd meters are showing different numbers, the 3rd and 4th meters are zeros.

Any idea what's going on?

Device firmware is written the same for all variants (1,2 and 3 phase version).

One shows accumulated values from all phases, so if you got 1 phase you will have values on 1st and 2nd endpoint which will be basically the same values.

    Thanks, that makes sense.

I guess [lime] group is total, [green] group is clamp 1?

Any idea why kWh are showing 0? Is it because they are not configured correctly? I.e. kWh needs to reference a time?

Also, there are voltage and current readings in [blue] and [purple] groups, are they just "noise"?
